漫长的旅程剧情背景
1967年其它电影《漫长的旅程》主要讲的是：智利影史十部最佳影片之一. 和一样都是60年代拉美新电影运动的代表作. A young boy mourns the loss of his newborn brother when the baby dies. At the baby's wake然而，当他踏得越深时，便离眼前的现实世界越远, the child is given paper wings to symbolize his union with the angels of heaven. The funeral takes place after the wake turns into a drunken affair. When the baby's paper wings are left behind, the boy tries to give the wings back to his dead brother for fear the child will not go to heaven. The young boy also saves a pigeon from being tortured at the hands of other sadistic children in this feature heavy with symbolic and religious overtones.

三星半。喜剧版午夜降临，落点重在巴黎和纽约的文化冲突，笑点密集，果然和天马行空的法国人比起来，再开放的美国人也是保守主义者。交易完灵魂在街头游荡的手持跟随镜头美，女神的皱纹都是美。还出现了爬树的丹尼尔·布鲁赫和窥私的迪伦·贝克两枚大彩蛋。

用亲情羁绊所勾勒出的爱，成为了《心在彼处》最为质朴的动容，而关乎梦想的寄望，虽有着现实的无奈，却仍旧值得寻觅，温情与梦想的缔结是电影的匠心之处，但另一面人物塑造上的扁平和剧情构思的乏善，亦使电影观感上不免稍显冗长。
