导演个人风格形成时期，一切都很暧昧，一切都在探索，但镜头之间又充满自信，一如电影中的Max，都在追求自己的缪斯(然后找到了比尔莫瑞！ 既是轻喜剧，也是冷笑话，由早熟的青春浇灌，生长成一幅自由的北美校园风情画。这么一想，俺也暗恋过高一的漂亮历史老师，直到她一把没收走了我上课偷偷画的闪电麦坤。
一贯的王晶喜剧风格，属于看过就忘，没有什么深度的电影，不过并不影响本片的娱乐性，梁朝伟的演技是毋庸置疑的，只是本片中的舒淇感觉还没有麦佳琪那么抢眼，可能是角色性格设定的缘故，总是感觉有点欠缺表演空间，这种灰姑娘遇上白马王子的故事在电影市场上可谓是经久不衰，也让观众能够有梦想的空间
